IT Support Desk Traineeship

Duties:

As a Support Desk Trainee, you’ll be the first point of contact for IT support within the business, learning on the job while contributing to key technology functions:

• Provide first-level technical support via Teams, email and in-person

• Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic network issues

• Assist with installing, configuring and maintaining devices and applications

• Support users with Office software and other common tools

• Maintain accurate IT support records and update ticketing systems

• Perform routine tasks like software updates, backups and antivirus scans

• Deliver basic IT training for new staff and ongoing user assistance

• Track IT inventory and assist with asset management

• Contribute to a positive end-user experience with great service

• Follow IT procedures and security practices to keep data safe
